| Where and when were you born? I was born 24.09.1979 in Ptuj, Slovenia. What is your profession? I have few different professions: economist, masseuse and personal trainer. Were you involved in sports or fitness prior to bodybuilding and how did you get started with weight training? I’ve trained karate for eight years and fitness was just my supplemental training. Was it a goal for you to compete in bodybuilding competitions right from the beginning or was it something that grew in your mind as time went on and you saw the progress in your body? First my goal was to compete in Miss Fitness category. My biggest success was first place on Miss World, Miss Europe IBFA and second place on European NABBA (category Miss Physique). Please tell me something about your training routine (ie: how many days per week / training split /cardio, etc.) In off season I train five times per week (no cardio, one muscle group per week). In preparations I train twice per day, I have a split training and one hour of cardio. What is your favorite exercise in the gym and which one you don’t like so much? I cannot decide about that but I love basic exercises (squat, bench press…). Which body part is your best in your opinion? My best body parts are my legs and back. If you don’t mind would you give me some stats (best lifts and some body measurements)? My best lifts are squats with 115kg, bench press with 80kg and shoulder press with 70kg (everything with 6 reps). My body measurements (in off season): arm 38cm, leg 62cm. What do you enjoy about training for competition....what do you enjoy about the 'off season'? About training for competition: simply, I love to compete! And it’s a great feeling when your body is changing almost everyday. In off season I really enjoy in good food. I love cooking for my friends and eating with them. Please describe a typical day in the life of Brigita Brezovac. My typical day: I get up at 8am and cook the breakfast. After that I read books, write mails or go to a coffee with friends. Sometimes I go to a gym and do some cardio. Then I cook lunch, on the afternoon I’m massaging or I’m train my clients (mostly competitors). If I’m free, I enjoy in gardening or I’m playing with my dog. At 8 pm I’m going back to the gym and train. After training I sit down with my friends for a half an hour and then we go home or to my place to cook some dinner for them. Please tell me about what you do when you don’t work out ( hobbies, what do you do to relax?, etc.) My hobbies are my garden, my flowers, nature… I love reading good books, cooking… What do you enjoy most about the bodybuilding/fitness lifestyle? In my lifestyle I love the discipline and persistence. Tell me something interesting about yourself, something people may be surprised to hear.
