| Where and when were you born? June 9,1972 in Trinidad, West Indies Were you involved in sports or fitness prior to bodybuilding and how did you get started with weight training? I have been training for the past 18 years. I did martial arts (Shotokan) for several years and my weight training started as a result. I used to look at Muscle and Fitness and Flex magazines in school and say to myself “I wish I could look like that.” I stopped martial arts and the rest is history. As far as female bodybuilders go Lenda Murray is my biggest inspiration. I love to train my chest and back. I hate to train my legs, even though they are very strong. What is your favorite food? Anything chocolate Please describe a typical day in the life of Candice Carr. My week days start at 4:00am to prepare/pack meals for the day before I go to the gym for the morning training session. After morning workout it’s shower and off to work. After work it’s off to the second training session of the day. Depending on the time I get of work I sometimes do an outdoor session. After the day’s second training session its time to head home, shower, eat and do any meal preps for the next day before going to bed. Weekends I don’t get up early so my day would start at 6:00am with one training session, after training if I’m off duty its home to do chores. What do you enjoy most about the bodybuilding/fitness lifestyle? I enjoy being strong and seeing the progress I’ve made over the years of hard work I’ve put out, and during the years of my involvement in the sport of bodybuilding I’ve been blessed to make the acquaintance of some really wonderful people some of who are my friends to this day. What are your competition goals or personal future goals? I would like to turn PRO Please note: Candice does not do sessions or wrestling of any kind. Please don't ask!! |
